📍 Work location: Hybrid role based in Vantaa, Finland, combining office collaboration with flexible remote work.

About the Role

As a Lead Product Designer, you will own and drive the overall user experience across Flovi’s products. Your role is to ensure a clear, intuitive, and consistent experience across systems, user groups, and markets, while supporting local operational realities.

You will report directly to the CTO and work closely with Product Owners, engineering, operations, and leadership. A key part of your role is translating complex operational needs into clear, usable product experiences.

The role is hands-on, especially in the beginning, and will evolve into a broader design leadership position including mentoring, defining direction, and building Flovi’s design capability.

What You’ll Do

You will take ownership of the end-to-end user experience across Flovi’s products and services, ensuring that different touchpoints form a cohesive and scalable whole.

Your work includes:

• Leading the UX vision and overall design direction

• Designing user flows, interaction patterns, and information architecture

• Creating high-quality UI for web and mobile products

• Ensuring usability and clarity in complex operational workflows

• Working closely with engineers to ensure high-quality implementation

You will work with multiple user groups, including customers, drivers, and internal teams, turning insights into concrete product improvements and business impact.

In practice, this means:

• Planning and conducting user research where it adds value

• Synthesizing insights into actionable improvements

• Identifying opportunities to improve usability and efficiency

• Connecting user needs with product and business outcomes

Collaboration is central to the role. You will facilitate discussions, align stakeholders, and support cross-functional teams across countries, while advocating for user-centered design and UX best practices. As a senior member of the team, you will also contribute to scaling design at Flovi:

• Mentoring and supporting others in UX thinking

• Developing design principles, UX standards, and UI systems

• Raising the overall quality and maturity of UX

• Representing design in leadership and cross-functional discussions

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an experienced product designer who combines strong design craft with product thinking and the ability to work across teams. You likely have several years of experience designing complex digital products or platforms and are able to turn complexity into clarity.

Your background includes:

• 5–8+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or related roles

• Experience working with scalable products and systems

• Strong visual design skills and experience with design systems

• Experience collaborating with Product Owners, engineers, and stakeholders

You are comfortable working end-to-end, from early concepts to high-fidelity design, and able to communicate clearly across different audiences.

As a person, you are pragmatic and impact-driven. You are comfortable working with autonomy and ambiguity, and approach problems in a structured and solution-oriented way.
