Operations Coordinator, Spain (Madrid)
Step into a hands-on role where you help build Spain from day one and make sure daily operations run smoothly on the ground. Support independent drivers and driver companies in real time, solve issues fast, and help create the operational foundations for a scalable market launch.
Build Spain from day one
We are entering the Spanish market and looking for a proactive and hands-on Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day execution of our transport operations from our Madrid office.
This is a frontline execution role with real ownership and clear responsibility. You will help ensure that every vehicle relocation is covered, every independent driver or driver company receives the support they need, and every operational issue is handled quickly and effectively.
You will work closely with the Operations Manager and play an important role in making sure the local operation runs reliably from day one. The role combines real-time coordination, communication with independent drivers and driver companies, practical problem-solving, and continuous improvement of daily workflows.
This is not a passive support role. It is about being at the center of execution, staying on top of details, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
If you are motivated by fast-paced operations, practical problem-solving, and building something new in a high-growth environment, this role is for you.
About the Role
As an Operations Coordinator, you will support Flovi’s daily operations in Spain by coordinating transport execution, monitoring active relocations, and resolving issues in real time.
Your focus is execution. You will help ensure that vehicle relocations are covered and completed successfully, independent drivers and driver companies receive fast and clear operational support, and issues are solved before they affect service quality.
You will work closely with the Operations Manager and local stakeholders while staying in frequent contact with independent drivers and driver companies operating through the platform. You will also help identify recurring operational issues and contribute ideas for improving workflows, communication, and efficiency.
This role requires strong attention to detail, structured follow-through, fast decision-making, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
What You’ll Be Doing
Coordinate daily transport operations: Monitor active relocations and help ensure every transport request is covered and executed successfully.
Support independent drivers and driver companies in real time: Communicate via phone, email, push notifications, and other channels to help ensure smooth execution.
Resolve operational issues quickly: Handle delays, cancellations, no-shows, route changes, and other day-to-day issues in a practical and timely way.
Maintain strong communication with independent drivers and driver companies: Build trust through consistent, clear, and hands-on communication.
Support operational quality and follow-through: Help ensure that details are not missed and that operational tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities: Report execution gaps and common failure points to the Operations Manager and support workflow improvements.
Contribute to process development: Help test better communication methods, new tools, and more efficient operational ways of working.
Stay hands-on when needed: Support execution during busy periods and act as the last line of defense so nothing falls through the cracks.
Your Impact
Success in this role is defined by outcomes.
In the initial phase, you will help make sure launch-phase operations in Spain run smoothly and reliably. You will support communication with independent drivers and driver companies, resolve real-time issues, and help build a reliable local service provider network alongside strong fleet partner relationships.
Within the first year, you will become a key part of stable day-to-day execution in Spain, helping reduce operational friction, improve workflows, and support the scaling of the local operation.
Your work will directly affect execution quality, service provider experience, and operational reliability in the market.
What We Need From You
You are a structured and hands-on operator who enjoys solving practical problems and making sure execution happens reliably in fast-paced environments.
You bring:
Experience in operations, logistics, dispatch, coordination, customer support, or similar execution-focused roles
Ability to manage multiple moving parts and maintain accuracy under time pressure
Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing directly with independent drivers, driver companies, and partners
A proactive, hands-on attitude and willingness to solve problems in real time
